Job summary

Al-Futtaim Group in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager for Finance Control in the Real Estate division to strengthen governance, reporting, and control processes. The role focuses on delivering accurate close cycles, automation, and data‑driven insights using AI tools.

You will review balances, perform variance analysis, develop dashboards, and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA preferred.
• 3–5 years in financial controlling, reporting, or audit.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, governance frameworks, and real estate operations.

Responsibilities

• Review trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
• Support audit readiness and timely resolution of control or compliance issues.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities within finance processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and management reporting tools.
• Leverage data analytics and AI solutions to enhance reporting and decision-making.
• Promote adoption of innovative technologies and best practices across the finance function.
• Independently initiate and lead finance improvement projects aligned with organisational objectives.
• Drive process optimisation, standardisation, and efficiency initiatives.
• Support finance transformation programs and system enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic finance initiatives.
