Job summary

Emirates Islamic is seeking a Business Banking Compliance & Governance professional to support regulatory alignment across products and processes. You will help ensure policies reflect the latest banking regulations and internal controls while advising frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a similar role within UAE banking sector.
• Knowledge of banking products, operations, compliance and governance.

Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to client needs, resolve queries and ensure accurate, timely transactions.
• Support the oversight and implementation of the compliance framework.
• Coordinate compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits and remediation projects.
• Develop, review and update policies and procedures per regulatory requirements.

Job description

The role supports Business Banking compliance and governance activities by ensuring alignment with applicable banking regulations, internal policies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to Business Banking client needs resolve queries and complaints and ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time
• Support the oversight and implementation of the compliance framework within Business Banking
• Coordinate compliance reviews risk assessments audits regulatory initiatives and remediation projects
• Assist in developing reviewing and updating policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
• Provide ongoing governance and compliance support to frontline teams including monitoring and analyzing customer profiles
• Ensure adherence to legal corporate regulatory and internal control requirements
• Maintain strict confidentiality and control of documents and secured items to prevent loss or misuse
