Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Manager – AV Events to join the resort’s AV and Entertainment Technical Services team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead a team of AV technicians, assign tasks and ensuring timely execution of setups, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between departments for event execution and show support.
• Mentor junior technicians and support their development through training and guidance.
• Technical Operations
• Oversee daily operations of AV systems including sound, lighting, projection, and control networks (DMX, DALI, Art-Net/sACN).
• Ensure optimal performance of AV control systems such as QLab, Crestron, and Navigator CSC.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of AV equipment including LED walls, projectors, speakers, and control gear.
• Maintain and update service logs, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Project Support & Innovation
• Assist in technical design reviews and installations for new entertainment projects.
• Collaborate with creative teams to assess feasibility and execute mock‑ups for new show concepts.
• Support synchronization of multimedia elements in immersive venues like the performance lake.
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols for rigging, flying systems, and aerial show equipment.
• Ensure all AV setups comply with electrical safety standards and operational procedures.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Technical Theatre, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AV technical services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in luxury resorts or entertainment venues is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AV networking and control systems (e.g., QLab, Crestron, GRMS).
• Proficiency in lighting, laser, holography, and control programming tools (ETC, C++, PLC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English; strong interpersonal and coordination abilities.
• Proactive and organized with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
