Job summary

NEP Singapore, India & MENA is seeking an experienced Equipment Planning professional to lead the Equipment Planning Team and align with engineering and project requirements.

You will collaborate with Technical Managers, manage procurement and rentals, forecast demand, track availability, and support budgeting and process improvements across Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in materials planning or inventory management.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to lead.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced project changes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Equipment Planning Team and align with engineering and project requirements.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers to define equipment needs, purchases, and rentals.
• Manage procurement and rentals to ensure cost efficiency and timelines.
• Forecast demand, track availability, and coordinate with Engineering and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor progress, prioritize tasks, and adjust team assignments as needed.
• Support purchasing strategies, including vendor sourcing and cost management.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure preparation and shipment of deliverables.
• Maintain equipment availability records to support Logistics and Sales.
• Communicate with Sales on equipment availability and feasibility.
• Address client change requests with Engineering and Warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Equipment Planning Team, ensuring alignment with engineering and project requirements.
• Work closely with Technical Managers to ensure clear communication of technical scope, equipment needs, purchases, sub-rentals, and facility/service requirements for projects.
• Manage procurement and rentals of external resources, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with project timelines.
• Optimize equipment planning by forecasting demand, tracking availability, and coordinating with Engineering and Warehouse teams to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress, prioritize tasks, and adjust team assignments based on project changes or new confirmations.
• Support purchasing strategies, including vendor sourcing, negotiations, cost management, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Team to ensure accurate preparation and shipment of project deliverables.
• Update and maintain equipment availability records (e.g., in Monday.com) to support Logistics, Engineering, and Sales teams.
• Communicate with Sales on equipment availability for hire inquiries and advise on feasibility.
• Liaise with Technical Managers to address client change requests and ensure Engineering and Warehouse teams are informed.
• Assist in budget planning for equipment procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment planning efficiency and accuracy.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales teams.

Requirements

1. 1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in materials planning or inventory management is essential.
2. 2. Effective Interpersonal skills.
3. 3. Ability to plan and organize work tasks in a systematic way.
4. 4. Leadership skills is a must.
5. 5. Composed and ability to manage work activities in a fast-paced environment.
6. 6. Demonstrate flexibility in work arrangement and ability to prioritize.
7. 7. Competent and being able to manage at least two (2) areas of job knowledge with grasp of the various broadcasting equipment / components.
8. 8. Meticulous and eye for details.
9. 9. Proficient in Excel Skills.
