Job summary

Emirates in Dubai is seeking a Materials Planning professional to support Engine Maintenance Centre operations. You will collaborate with planning officers to optimize part numbers, stock levels, and interchangeabilities within our ERP system, ensuring timely availability of spares.

You will assist in data collection for float calculations, stock takes, and reports, coordinate with repairs and warehouse teams, expedite purchase orders, and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly analyses.

Qualifications

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• Relevant engineering experience in Production Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshops, or related environment.
• Good understanding of aircraft documentation and records (AMM, IPC, CMM, Work Packages, Maintenance Schedules).
• Proficient in MS Office; ULTRAMAIN knowledge is a plus.

• Support data compilation for inventory float, surplus reviews, and non-moving parts.
• Contribute to EK inventory stocktakes and support outstation stores for accuracy.
• Review gross stock value, service levels, and inventory parameters in the ERP module.
• Expedite open purchase orders/quotes with suppliers to meet timelines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory analysis reports.

Job Purpose

In This Role, You Will

• Work alongside Material Planning Officers and Supervisors in finding cost effective and timely solutions by reviewing IPC, CMM and other documentation and suggesting alternate/breakdown part numbers or In-House/In Situ Repair options.
• Assist the material officers and Supervisors define part numbers and setup interchangeabilities in the ERP system after collecting the required data from IPC, CMM, SB, S-file and other technical documentation
• Assist Material Planning Officers and Supervisors in data compilation required for Float calculations, Float Review, Surplus reviews, non-moving parts etc.
• Assist in stocktaking of EK Inventory at DXB and provide support at Outstation stores, to achieve the desired level of accuracy of inventory against physical stock levels.
• Assist in reviews of Gross Stock Value, Service Levels, Inventory Float & Quantities, Usage and other Planning Parameters of Inventory Control Module in ERP system, in order to maintain data accuracy.
• Assist with the generation and action of the various reports associated with inventory control
• Assist Material Planning Officers and Supervisors in preparing usage of spares at outstations and inventory reviews. Create station lists as per standard recommended spares lists and update EK stock wherever available to identify material shortages for new stations or aircraft type changes.
• Coordinate with Repairs, Maintenance and Warehouse teams to follow up on material shortages against Nil stock reports, assist in tracking Dues In components and clearing Store Discrepancies.
• Expedite open purchase orders/quotes by liaising with external suppliers and freight forwarders to obtain material/tooling as per the required timelines.
• Assist the Material Planning Supervisors in the collection and processing of data for submission of daily, weekly, and monthly analysis reports.

Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• Relevant engineering experience in Production Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, Workshops, Maintenance Planning, Technical Records or a related environment.
• Good understanding of aircraft documentation and records, including AMM, IPC, CMM, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of ULTRAMAIN is an advantage.
