Job summary

TASC Outsourcing seeks an experienced Accounts Supervisor / Team Leader to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

You will supervise the Finance & Accounts team, manage AP/AR/GL, and ensure accurate month-end close, costing and reporting, with close collaboration across Production, Procurement and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Finance & Accounts teams in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong background in accounting standards, controls and compliance.
• Ability to oversee AP, AR and GL activities and month-end close.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor / Team Leader with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial accounting to supervise day-to-day accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting, compliance and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Finance & Accounts activities and guide the accounting team.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) activities.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions and account reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and inventory valuation.
• Support product costing, manufacturing costing and cost-control activities.
• Review purchase, expense and vendor accounting.
• Monitor fixed assets and depreciation.
• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
