Job summary

Tasc Business in Dubai seeks an experienced Accounts Supervisor / Team Leader with a strong manufacturing accounting background to oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure robust financial reporting and controls.

The role involves leading the Finance & Accounts team, managing AP/AR/GL, month-end and year-end close, inventory valuation, and cost accounting, while coordinating with Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams for timely insights.

Qualifications

• Strong background in manufacturing or industrial accounting.
• Experience supervising a finance team and coordinating cross-functional departments.
• Proven ability to ensure compliance and robust internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Finance & Accounts activities and guide the accounting team.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and valuation.
• Support product costing, manufacturing costing and cost-control activities.
• Review purchases, expenses and vendor accounting.
• Monitor fixed assets and depreciation.
• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion.
• Work with Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
