Job summary

Emirates Islamic in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to support the Head of Audit across Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Branches, Markets & Treasury, Corporate Banking, Finance and Operations.

The role involves executing audit reviews, contributing to the annual plan, and delivering services that improve the control environment and protect the bank's financial position.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field is required.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is highly regarded for this role.
• FRM or CFA designation is a plus for risk and financial analysis.
• 5+ years of banking/financial services internal audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit reviews and contribute to the Annual Audit Plan.
• Maximize time utilization and timely audit completion.
• Develop and deliver audits focused on control environment improvements.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain professional relationships with business stakeholders.
