Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to assist in developing and executing the internal audit plan. The role focuses on conducting internal audit reviews in line with the audit plan, performing fieldwork, and contributing to investigations and fraud reviews.

The position requires 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably with Big 4 or Blue Chip training in UAE, and strong English communication and reporting skills. On-site at Deira, with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience of complex audits in a corporate environment.
• Use of IT audit tools and techniques including ACL.
• Ability to learn on the job and manage multiple tasks.
• Good interpersonal, people and teamworking skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assigned audit engagements.
• Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions.
• Ensures audit conclusions reflect understanding of process and risk.
• Discharges audit programs and testing procedures.
• Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring conclusions are well-documented.
• Adheres to department and professional standards.
• Communicates tasks to the engagement team clearly.
• Manages personal effort to be risk-based and efficient.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
