A reputed, diversified Group of Companies in Ajman, UAE is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running day-to-day operations across multiple business units.

The role suits a hands-on leader who can drive efficiency, oversee diverse teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure strategic plans are executed while maintaining compliance and cost control. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 15+ years of progressive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• MBA is preferred but not mandatory for all candidates.
• 15+ years of progressive experience with senior management exposure.
• Strong leadership, communication and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing operations across group companies.
• Coordinate between business units to align with group objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance and operational reports; propose improvements.
• Lead department heads and teams with clear accountability and performance tracking.
• Develop and enforce policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management, contracts and cost-control initiatives.
• Handle HR and administrative matters including manpower planning and compliance.
• Liaise with government authorities, free zones, banks, clients and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and assist expansion or diversification projects.
• Represent the company at meetings when required.
