Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager in Dubai to support the Cost Management team across pre-contract estimating and on-site activities. The role involves preparing Bills of Quantities, assisting in timely information delivery, and collaborating with project teams to add value and meet client objectives.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree, seek MRICS, have 3–5 years of relevant experience, and are familiar with CostX or similar costing tools.

• Desire to obtain MRICS membership.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Knowledge of CostX is an advantage.

SCOPE:

Assistant Cost Managers support our team in varying types and sizes of projects either in the pre-contract estimating stages orpost contracton site.Our projects are varied and can be relatively small or complex and large.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• To support the Cost Management team taking responsibility forallocatedtasks.
• To help us provide excellent service delivery to our clients gaintheir trustand enhance our reputation.
• To help us ensure that clientobjectivesare met through the delivery of an effective cost management service frompre contractto construction completion.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of and experience in the Infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of the Cost Management / Quantity Surveying profession.
• Basic experience inestimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Professional approach andconfidentin your ability to add value to our team.
• Ability to work with others and accept instruction in a team environment.
• Willingness to listen and learn and develop your skills.
