A global professional services company seeks an Assistant Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting project delivery, ensuring client objectives are met, and managing compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 5 to 10 years of project management experience in the Buildings or Infrastructure sector, preferably within the Middle East.

The Assistant Project Manager will report to the Turner & Townsend Senior or Lead Project Manager internally and the client representative at a project level. The incumbent will be based in Abu Dhabi and may be required to travel across the UAE region.
The Assistant Project Manager will operate in a collaborative supporting team environment, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality, sustainability and safety standards.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and who wants to make a difference to the Project Management division.
You will have both precontract and post contract delivery experience. You will show an understanding of management and possess interpersonal skills and a core technical skillset, an understanding of construction with commercial and contractual awareness.
As a smart and enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager you will understand the complexities of a large-scale building/infrastructure project.
Your strong interpersonal skills and exceptional relationship management experience will enable you to effectively liaise with a diverse range of clients, sub-contractors and key stakeholders. You are immaculately presented and possess knowledge of the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle inclusive of design, procurement, permitting, construction and handover processes.
