• A proven record of curriculum development and innovative teaching practices in accounting.
• An established portfolio of scholarly research, with publications in reputable, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Experience in industry practice, consultancy, or professional service is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA.
• Industry experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.

The College of Business at Abu Dhabi University is seeking to appoint a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor in Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, conducting high-quality research and scholarly activities in the field, and actively contributing to college and university administrative and service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and related disciplines.
• Develop and sustain a productive research agenda that leads to publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals, with the potential to contribute to interdisciplinary and practice-oriented research in accounting domain.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and theses, as applicable.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program enhancement, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, evolving industry practices, and the integration of digital tools used in accounting
• Actively participate in departmental, college, and university committees and academic initiatives that support institutional goals.
