Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Accounting from a reputable university, AACSB preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) preferred.
• Two+ years of teaching at a reputable university, AACSB preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching topics like Managerial/Taxation/Audit at undergrad/grad levels.
• Strong research record with publications in top-tier journals (SCOPUS/ABDC/ABS).
• Collaborative/interdisciplinary research experience is a plus.
• Proven supervision of student projects and dissertations.
• Strong professional and community service record.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess graduate and undergraduate accounting courses.
• Engage in innovative and technology-based teaching approaches.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable venues.
• Participate in department/college/university service tasks.
• Support growth and visibility of Ajman University.
• Offer consultancy and industry-facing services to AU partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
