Job summary

Emirates Gas, part of Emirates National Oil Company Limited (ENOC), seeks an Asset Integrity Engineer to develop and manage the asset integrity management system, including condition monitoring and RBI programs. The role reports to the Maintenance & Technical Services Manager and involves active field supervision within EMGAS facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical engineering from a reputed institute, with oil industry experience.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, NACE and NDT techniques essential.
• ASNT NDT Level II certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update EMGAS Asset Integrity Manual.
• Maintain asset registry for fixed equipment.
• Assess and monitor the condition of pressure vessels, pipelines, safety relief devices, and other critical equipment to ensure integrity.
• Support SAP master and transactional data reviews and updates.
• Implement and support risk-based inspection programs to improve asset integrity.
• Develop and implement asset integrity condition management strategies for loss containment.
• Conduct routine analysis of inspection and conditioning management programs and document asset deterioration patterns.
• Troubleshoot fixed equipment problems and apply RCA practices to failures.
• Maintain anomaly management system documents reflecting degradations due to changes/inspections.
• Support Asset Integrity management KPI and reporting.
• Assist Maintenance Engineers in day-to-day maintenance and field supervision.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corrosion control and dead leg management plans.
• Participate in capital and operating budget preparation for inspections, replacements, and upgrades.
• Supervise hydrostatic testing and other NDT testing activities.
