Job summary

NYU Abu Dhabi seeks an Arts Instructor for Project and Stage Management (Open Rank) to lead stage management across arts programs and mentor students on student-led and classroom projects. The role requires disciplinary depth in stage management and live performance and involves supporting symposiums, interactive media installations, visual arts projects, and theater events.

This is a 12-month, 35-hour-per-week full-time position for three years with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications

• Disciplinary depth in stage management and live performance.
• Applicants with a degree in stage management or substantial professional experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage management and development of best practices.
• Writing rehearsal and project reports.
• Providing academic support and general support as needed.
• Mentorship and oversight of other curricular, extracurricular and co-curricular projects within the Arts and Humanities Division.
