Job summary

Career Nest Academy is seeking a reception professional for a fine dining Japanese Wagyu omakase restaurant in Downtown Dubai. The role involves coordinating reservations, welcoming guests, and presenting the concept and culture behind the room.

Fluent English is required, with Japanese a bonus. Must be in the UAE. Target start is 1 November. The position offers art sales commissions alongside salary, medical insurance, and staff meals. Six‑day work week with Mondays off and evening service only.

Qualifications

• Previous reception or guest relations experience in fine dining.
• Fluent in a reservations system and comfortable across social channels.
• Genuinely engaging; discusses art and culture, not just tables.
• Presentation and composure at the door.
• Fluent in English; Japanese is an advantage; already in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservation enquiries across telephone, WhatsApp and Instagram, with accurate system entry.
• Welcome and escort guests; own table allocation and reservation flow.
• Present the concept, the art and the Japanese culture behind the room.
• Maintain VIP guest information and relationships.
• Coordinate guest information with service, kitchen and management.
• Support marketing and deliver daily briefings.
