Job summary

Tornado Group seeks an experienced Technical Manager (Architectural) to lead design development, coordination, and approvals for major UAE projects. You will oversee architectural design reviews, shop drawings, and material submissions, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and schedules while guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
• 12–15 years in architectural design and construction.
• At least 5 years in a Technical Manager or Senior Architectural role.
• Experience with high‑rise, commercial, mixed‑use or hospitality developments in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical proposals.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, UAE codes, and authority regs.
• Lead design coordination among Architectural, Structural, MEP and BIM teams.
• Resolve design clashes through interdisciplinary coordination.
• Manage design development and consultant approvals.
• Implement value engineering while maintaining quality and function.
