Job summary

Zohorecruit in Dubai seeks an Architectural Draftsman with 3–5 years of experience to prepare shop drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing in AutoCAD. You will coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP teams and ensure drawings reflect approved designs.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for clashes, incorporating consultant comments, preparing RFIs and maintaining revision records, all while adhering to UAE regulations and project specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Good understanding of architectural construction drawings and detailing.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, villas, commercial and residential projects.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural shop drawings, working drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and architectural details.
• Prepare door/window schedules, finish layouts, ceiling plans, and other architectural drawings.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP services.
• Review drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and design issues.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.
• Prepare RFI drawings and technical details when required.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Prepare accurate drawings based on site measurements and actual site conditions.
• Assist the site team with drawing-related technical clarifications.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and submission records.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable UAE requirements.
