Qualifications

• Experience representing the Owner or working with consultants is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority requirements.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect Engineer to represent the Owner in coordinating with consultants throughout all project phases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural designs, ensuring compliance with the Owner's requirements, monitoring project progress, and maintaining high-quality design standards for residential developments, particularly apartment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Owner in all architectural coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders.


• Review and evaluate architectural drawings, layouts, and design proposals to ensure alignment with the Owner's vision and project objectives.


• Follow up with design consultants on project deliverables, timelines, and design revisions.


• Ensure architectural designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and project specifications.


• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants, including structural, MEP, and interior design teams.


• Review material selections, finishes, and space planning for residential apartment projects.


• Monitor project progress during design and construction phases and identify potential design issues.


• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and consultant submissions from an architectural perspective.


• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical recommendations to improve project quality and functionality.


• Ensure timely resolution of design-related issues and coordinate with all project stakeholders.


• Prepare technical reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.


• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.


• Proven experience in residential apartment design and high-rise residential developments.


• Previous experience representing the Owner or working closely with consultants is highly preferred.


• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority requirements.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.


• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to review architectural drawings and ensure design quality and compliance.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering consultancy or real estate developers.


• Knowledge of BIM processes is an advantage.


• Membership in a recognized engineering association is preferred.
