Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically strong Architect to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, coordinating, and overseeing architectural design activities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered in line with company standards, timelines, budgets, and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design presentations for real estate projects.
• Prepare design briefs, space planning, and feasibility studies.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, material selections, and design specifications.
• Ensure designs align with brand positioning, market trends, functionality, and commercial viability.
• Coordinate with external consultants for concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with engineering consultants, contractors, and project management teams throughout project execution.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely submission of drawings and approvals.
• Attend design coordination meetings and site visits when required.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups for compliance with approved designs.

Authority Approvals & Compliance

• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, zoning laws, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Support in obtaining permits, NOCs, and completion documentation.

Technical & Commercial Support

• Assist procurement and commercial teams with material selection and technical evaluations.
• Support value engineering exercises while maintaining design quality.
• Review BOQs and provide technical clarifications where required.

Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Conduct site inspections to ensure execution is aligned with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Resolve design-related issues arising during construction.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely rectification of design deviations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in architectural design and coordination within a real estate developer, consultancy, or construction company.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes.
• Registered with Dubai Municipality / RAK Municipality for unlimited or infinite projects.
• Must be a member of the Association of Engineers / Society of Engineers UAE.
• Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and project coordination.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
