Job summary

GEMS Winchester School Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver Arabic at the secondary level within a British curriculum framework. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management, differentiation, and a commitment to inquiry-based learning.

Experience with Arabic instruction in the UAE or similar settings is preferred, and candidates should be based in the UAE with immediate availability where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/licence)
• Degree equivalency certification is mandatory
• Proven experience teaching Arabic at the secondary school level, preferably within the British curriculum
• IELTS score of 6 required
• Strong ability to inspire and support students through engaging, student-centred learning
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills with collaborative professionalism

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, supported by a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, state teaching licence, or equivalent.

• Proven experience teaching Arabic at the secondary school level, preferably within the British curriculum, although candidates with experience in other recognised curricula are also encouraged to apply.
