Job summary

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) invites applications for an experienced Arabic Trainer to join the academic team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high-quality preparatory Arabic instruction to support students’ readiness for undergraduate programs.

The Arabic Trainer will foster foundational language skills, academic communication, reading, writing, and critical thinking necessary for success in university studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education, Linguistics, or related field from an accredited university.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of university-level teaching experience in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic preparatory courses to develop language proficiency and academic communication skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, materials, assessments aligned with academic standards.
• Support students who meet entry requirements but need additional Arabic reinforcement.
• Provide tutoring and guidance to improve student performance and retention.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to students.
