Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Translation, Interpreting, Applied Linguistics or related field.
Experience teaching consecutive and simultaneous interpreting.
Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and English.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Professional interpreting experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in interpreting (Arabic/English and vice versa).
Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
Select and prepare appropriate teaching and learning resources.
Plan and deliver well-organized, effective instructional sessions.
Demonstrate sensitivity to students’ interests, diverse cultural backgrounds, and learning needs.
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
