Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Arabic A lessons for students at primary level
  • Teach reading, handwriting, composition, grammar, vocabulary and oral communication
  • Introduce age-appropriate Arabic literature, stories, poetry and informational texts
  • Translate curriculum standards into clear lesson objectives and learning outcomes
  • Design activities that encourage active participation, creativity and independent thinking
  • Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, presentations and digital resources
  • Adapt instruction for students with different attainment levels and learning needs
  • Use visual, oral, written and interactive teaching approaches in mixed-ability classrooms
  • Strengthen students' pronunciation, fluency and confidence in spoken Arabic
  • Develop accurate written expression through guided and independent writing tasks
  • Assess learning through classwork, reading activities, assignments, projects and formal evaluations
  • Provide clear feedback that helps students improve language accuracy and comprehension
  • Analyse assessment results and identify learning gaps
  • Deliver targeted support and extension activities based on student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments and achievement
  • Establish a respectful, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment
  • Apply consistent behaviour management strategies that protect learning time
  • Use educational technology and IT tools to enrich lesson delivery

Role Context

The Arabic A Teacher - Primary Language Studies will develop the reading, writing, speaking and comprehension abilities of native Arabic-speaking primary students.
