Job summary

Master HR seeks an Applications Specialist-SharePoint in the UAE to support and enhance the SharePoint platform and related applications, including DMS, forms, and intranet. The role requires developing new SharePoint apps to meet business needs and delivering user training.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in installing, configuring, and administering SharePoint up to 2016, with solid experience in ASP.NET, SQL Server, and BI tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with SharePoint installation, configuration, administration and support up to SharePoint 2016.
• Experience integrating enterprise content with SharePoint includ­ing document management, indexing, search scopes, workflow and access controls.
• Set up and administers including IIS, content management tools, SharePoint, and Nintex workflows.
• Installation, upgrade and administration of SQL Server; SP Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer Workflows.
• Proficient in ASP.NET / MVC / .NET / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / REST / OData.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft TFS.
• BI tools: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView.
• Content Management systems (WordPress, DotNetNuke).
• Database management (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Crystal Reports).
• Experience in gathering business and technical requirements; training users.

Responsibilities

• Support the Company SharePoint Platform and related applications (DMS, forms, intranet, etc.).
• Develop and support new SharePoint applications per business needs.
• Provide user trainings and create training materials and manuals.

Applications Specialist-SharePoint at UAE

BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree

Applications support of the Company SharePoint Platform and Applications including: Document Management System, Electronic Forms, Correspondence Management System, Intranet, etc.

The Job holder is also required to develop and support new SharePoint applications based on the business needs.

• Minimum of 5 years demonstrate experience installing, configuring, administration and supporting Microsoft SharePoint up to and including version 2016 Experience of integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include: document management; content indexing, search scopes, workflow, personalization, and restricting access to content.
• Set up, configuration, administration, including application server IIS, content management tools, SharePoint, workflow management e.g. Nintex. Website development/programming experience (.Net preferred) Windows scripting experience (.vbs)
• Installation, upgrade and administration of Microsoft SQL Server Experience of SharePoint Server Side and Client Side Object Model
• Experience in SharePoint Designer Workflows
• Experience in ASP.NET / MVC / .NET / HTLM / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / REST / OData / MVC / CDN
• Experience in using Visual Studio and using Microsoft Team Foundation Services
• Experience in Business intelligence tools i.e. Tableau, Microsoft Power Bl, Qlikview, etc...
• Experience in Content Management systems (Wordpress, Dotnetnuke, etc..)
• Experience in Database management system (Apache hadoop, MySQL, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, etc.)
• Experience in Business and Technical requirements gathering.
• Provide user trainings, and develop training materials including demos, and user manuals.
