Job summary

Master HR in UAE seeks an Applications Specialist-SharePoint to support and extend our SharePoint platform, intranet, and related applications. You will install, configure, and administer SharePoint 2016 or later, develop new SharePoint applications, and work with business units to meet content and workflow needs.

You will also provide user training, create manuals, and assist with BI and reporting tools to improve content management and collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience installing, configuring, administrating and supporting Microsoft SharePoint up to version 2016.
• Experience integrating enterprise content with SharePoint (document management, indexing, search scopes, workflow, access control).
• Experience in SharePoint Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model.
• Experience in SharePoint Designer Workflows.
• Web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, OData, MVC, CDN.
• Experience in Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Services.
• Experience in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
• Experience with Content Management Systems and Database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Hadoop).
• Experience in gathering business and technical requirements; ability to train users and develop training materials.

BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree

applications support of the Company SharePoint Platform and Applications including: Document Management System, Electronic Forms, Correspondence Management System, Intranet, etc.

The Job holder is also required to develop and support new SharePoint applications based on the business needs.

Minimum of 5 years demonstrate experience installing, configuring, administration and supporting Microsoft SharePoint up to and including version 2016 Experience of integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include: document management; content indexing, search scopes, workflow, personalization, and restricting access to content.

Set up, configuration, administration, including application server IIS, content management tools, SharePoint, workflow management e.g. Nintex. Website development/programming experience (.Net preferred) Windows scripting experience (.vbs)

Installation, upgrade and administration of Microsoft SQL Server Experience of SharePoint Server Side and Client Side Object Model

Experience in SharePoint Designer Workflows

Experience in ASP.NET / MVC / .NET / HTLM / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / REST / OData / MVC / CDN

Experience in using Visual Studio and using Microsoft Team Foundation Services

Experience in Business intelligence tools i.e. Tableau, Microsoft Power Bl, Qlikview, etc...

Experience in Content Management systems (Wordpress, Dotnetnuke, etc..)

Experience in Database management system (Apache hadoop, MySQL, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, etc.)

Experience in Business and Technical requirements gathering.
