Qualifications

• Medical degree in anesthesiology from a recognised institution.

• 3–5 years of post‑specialisation experience in anaesthesia.
• Experience in pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative management and post‑operative care.

Role Overview

Specialist Anesthesiologist

As a Specialist Anesthesiologist you will provide safe and effective anaesthesia care before, during and after surgical procedures while working closely with surgeons, nurses and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. You will be responsible for comprehensive pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative anaesthesia management, post‑operative pain control and critical patient monitoring to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative patient assessments
• Develop individualised anaesthesia plans based on surgical and patient requirements
• Administer general, regional and local anaesthesia safely and effectively

Requirements

• Medical Degree from a recognised institution – MD, DNB, Facharzt, or equivalent qualification in Anesthesiology
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH License or Eligibility preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of post‑specialisation experience
• Strong experience in pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative anaesthesia management and post‑operative care
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English) preferred
• UAE experience highly preferred
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and decision‑making skills
