Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks a Data Analytics Officer to drive analytics, BI reporting, and process automation within the Technical department. You will develop dashboards, improve data quality, and translate operational data into actionable insights for decision-making.

Strong analytical abilities, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple digital initiatives are essential. Aviation data familiarity and Power Platform proficiency are highly desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related analytical field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a complex analytical, BI, or reporting environment; aviation experience preferred.
Proficiency in Power Platform and analytics tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau.
Hands-on experience in dashboard development, BI reporting, data modelling, and ETL.
Familiarity with OPS BI/EDP and aviation maintenance data platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance BI reports and automated dashboards across data platforms.
Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Monitor data flows, validate data connections, and address data quality issues.
Identify opportunities to digitize workflows and automate recurring technical processes.
Lead analytics initiatives from requirements to deployment and continuous improvement.
Define project scope, timelines, resources, and success metrics with stakeholders.
Evaluate tools and technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Promote data literacy and adoption across the department.
