Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a finance professional to support execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, and capital market transactions across the ADNOC group.

You will help maintain an investment governance framework, perform financial modelling and due diligence, draft investment stream documents, and prepare marketing materials while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant, value-adding deal delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting.
• 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial modelling, mergers & acquisitions, and capital markets.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct modelling and analysis activities, in support of execution-stage deals.
• Support corporate transactions, including financial modelling, due diligence, and value creation work streams.
• Draft investment stream documentation, detailed placement memorandums, and service tender efforts.
• Assist in the preparation of relevant marketing materials.

Job Description:

1. JOB PURPOSE

Support the Manager and Senior Manager with execution of individual workstreams related with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, equity and debt capital market transactions, and others across the ADNOC group (HQ and Group Companies).

Support maintaining an adequate investment governance framework and ensure the execution of projects is in adherence with relevant processes and guidelines.

Support delivery of performance scorecard.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Specific

Significant Investments

• Conduct modelling and analysis activities, in support of the execution-stage deals.
• Provide wide range support during corporate transactions, including, financial modelling, due diligence, and other value creation work streams.
• Support the Manager and Senior Manager in drafting investment stream documentation, detailed placement memorandums, and all service tender efforts.
• Support in the preparation of relevant marketing materials.

Investment Governance

• Present and provide advice regarding financial models towards relevant internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all finalised project/deal financial models are internally consistent and quality assured, in line with the Group Economic Evaluation Guidelines.

Stakeholder Management

Liaise with internal/external members of deal execution teams, acting as a focal point for operational deal related matters (e.g. gathering information, scheduling meetings, etc.).

Supervision

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective business objectives.

Budgets

• Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

• Implement approved Function / Division / Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function / Division / Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial modelling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial/ trading, business development, capital markets

Professional Certifications

• CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred
