Job Purpose The Strategic Investments Analyst will support the Manager and Senior Manager in executing individual workstreams associated with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, equity and debt capital market transactions and other strategic investment activities across ADNOC Group. The position also supports the maintenance of an effective investment governance framework, helps ensure projects follow relevant processes and guidelines, and contributes to delivery of the performance scorecard.

Significant Investments

• Conduct financial modelling and analytical activities supporting transactions at the execution stage.
• Provide support across corporate transactions, including financial modelling, due diligence and value creation workstreams.
• Assist the Manager and Senior Manager with execution of assigned investment and transaction activities.
• Support preparation of investment stream documentation.
• Contribute to the development of detailed placement memorandums.
• Support service tender activities associated with investment transactions.
• Assist in preparing relevant transaction and marketing materials.
• Provide analytical input required to support evaluation and execution of strategic investments.

Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Transactions

• Support workstreams associated with mergers and acquisitions across ADNOC HQ and Group Companies.
• Contribute to joint venture and disposal transactions.
• Support equity and debt capital market transaction activities.
• Coordinate financial and analytical information required during transaction execution.
• Assist deal teams with due diligence and other transaction-related requirements.
• Support value creation workstreams associated with corporate transactions.

Financial Modelling

• Develop and analyze financial models required for assigned investment activities.
• Present financial models and provide relevant advice to internal stakeholders.
• Review finalized project and deal models for internal consistency.
• Support quality assurance of transaction financial models.
• Ensure financial models align with Group Economic Evaluation Guidelines.
• Provide modelling analysis required to support transaction assessment and decision-making.

Investment Governance

• Support maintenance of the investment governance framework.
• Assist in ensuring transaction and investment projects comply with relevant processes and guidelines.
• Apply applicable Group Economic Evaluation requirements to assigned financial modelling activities.
• Support governance requirements throughout relevant stages of investment execution.
• Contribute to delivery and monitoring of the applicable performance scorecard.

Stakeholder and Deal Team Coordination

• Liaise with internal and external members of deal execution teams.
• Act as a focal point for operational matters associated with assigned transactions.
• Coordinate information gathering required by deal teams.
• Arrange and support transaction-related meetings.
• Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders during execution of assigned workstreams.
• Coordinate as required with the Chief Investment Officer, Group Strategic Investments leadership, F and I leadership and other ADNOC directorates and units.

Supervision and Staff Development

• Plan, supervise and coordinate assigned activities to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop assigned personnel in relevant skills.
• Support staff proficiency and achievement of respective business objectives.

Budget and Performance Management

• Provide input for preparation of Function, Division, Department and Section budgets.
• Assist with implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
• Investigate and highlight significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
• Contribute to achievement of approved performance objectives in line with the company performance framework.

Policies, Systems and Procedures

• Implement approved Function, Division, Department and Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures.
• Support execution of work programs in accordance with company and international standards.
