Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai seeks an experienced Ambulance Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate, commercially competitive estimates for ambulance vehicles, medical interiors, emergency equipment and conversion works.

You will interpret customer requirements, drawings and tender documents, coordinate with design, procurement and production teams, and deliver complete, compliant estimates within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in estimating, cost engineering or project engineering.
• Experience in vehicle conversion or specialist vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ambulance conversions and related equipment.
• Review customer briefs, drawings, and tender documents to identify requirements.
• Estimate material, labour, subcontractor, tooling, and installation costs.
• Develop cost calculations for electrical systems, HVAC, medical interiors.
• Analyse supplier quotations for compliance and lead times.
• Maintain estimating databases and cost data.
• Support sales with technical clarifications and pricing reviews.
• Prepare revised estimates for changes in scope.
• Collaborate with design, production, procurement teams.
