Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer – Special Purpose Vehicles to join our team in Dubai. The role is focused on preparing detailed estimates for specialized vehicle projects including fire trucks and rescue vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering and 3–6 years of experience in estimation or commercial roles. Proficiency with MS Office and knowledge of procurement processes are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years' experience in estimation or commercial roles for specialist vehicles.
• Proven experience preparing detailed bills of materials and labour estimates.
• Competent in reading technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of materials for chassis and bodywork.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams for manufacturability and interfaces.
• Liaise with procurement to obtain current component prices and evaluate costs.
