Job summary

Job description

DKL Aluminum & Kitchens Installation LLC - Dubai is looking for an experienced Aluminum & Kitchen Foreman with strong hands-on knowledge of fabrication, site measurements and installation.

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience, preferably in the UAE, and be capable of taking accurate site measurements, reading and understanding shop drawings, checking dimensions before fabrication, supervising aluminium and kitchen fabrication and installation, managing installers and helpers, checking levels and alignment, coordinating materials and accessories, identifying measurement or installation problems, controlling material wastage and rework, and ensuring high-quality finishing before handover.

Strong experience is required in kitchen cabinets, aluminium doors and windows, cabinets, hardware, hinges, locks, accessories, fixing and final adjustments. The Foreman will also be responsible for daily manpower allocation, productivity monitoring, material requirements, site coordination and daily progress reporting.

UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in aluminium and kitchen works, preferably experience within the UAE.
• Strong experience in kitchen cabinet installation, aluminium doors and windows, cabinets, and related works.
• Ability to take and raise site measurements accurately and review them before fabrication.
• Reading and understanding shop drawings and plans, details, and measurements, and translating them into site execution works.
• Reviewing openings, suitability, alignment, and leveling before installation begins.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing, assembling, installing, cutting, and adjusting accessories.
• Ensuring the conformity of manufactured parts to measurements and drawings before sending them to the site.
• Supervising the team of technicians and workers and distributing tasks among them while monitoring daily productivity.
• Good knowledge of installing and adjusting doors, fittings, locks, accessories, cabinets, and kitchen units.
• Strong experience required in kitchen cabinets, aluminium doors and windows, cabinets, hardware, hinges, locks, accessories, fixing and final adjustments. The Foreman will also be responsible for daily manpower allocation, productivity monitoring, material requirements, site coordination and daily progress reporting.
