National Bank of Bahrain’s UAE Oversea Branch seeks an ALM Analyst to manage day-to-day front office liquidity, work with the Head of Treasury & ALM, and define funding and investment strategies for the month and year. The role focuses on NII generation, liquidity management, and compliance with risk parameters.

The candidate will handle interbank placements, derivative activities, and ALCO-coordinated risk oversight to meet profitability and liquidity targets within policy limits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline is required.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience in a bank or same or similar function. Previous work experience in a financial services organisation operating as an ALM Dealer or Trainee is essential.

Aufgaben

• Define the Branch’s annual funding and investment strategy and monthly balance sheet goals.
• Forecast liquidity, ensure funding requirements and regulatory liquidity ratios.
• Identify interbank placements and short-term investment opportunities.
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and trade in interest rate derivatives for NII.
• Manage liquidity gaps across Banking Book to stay within Liquidity Gap Limits.
• Assess interest rate risk exposure with ALCO and related functions.
• Eliminate non-trading FX positions to prevent P&L impact.
• Manage HQLA portfolio for prudent liquidity and returns.
• Develop relationships with banks to ensure adequate counterpart limits.
• Participate in treasury systems development and implementation.
