Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a qualified aviation or airport operations professional to monitor and coordinate daily airside operations, ensuring safety and compliance. You will work closely with OCC, ATC, airlines and ground handlers to manage aircraft stand allocations, monitor inspections, and respond to incidents.

Bachelor’s degree is required, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in airside operations; UAE environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Airport Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in airport or airside operations.
• Knowledge of GCAA and ICAO requirements for airport operations.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily airside operations during shifts to ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of aprons, taxiways, stands and service roads to identify hazards.
• Coordinate aircraft stand allocation and support movements with OCC, ATC and stakeholders.
• Respond to airside incidents and escalate as needed, including FOD and fuel spills.
• Supervise ground handling and maintenance teams to support aircraft turnaround.
• Enforce airside safety requirements, permits, PPE, and driving regulations.
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and inspection checklists.
• Assist emergency response and act as initial airside responder until services arrive.
• Facilitate communication between security, airlines, maintenance, OCC and ATC.
• Escalate significant safety and compliance matters to supervisors.
