Job summary

Bombardier Aerospace Abu Dhabi is opening a new service center at Al Bateen Executive Airport. We seek skilled Aircraft Mechanics to support the Middle East aftermarket team, performing maintenance on Bombardier aircraft and ensuring compliance with maintenance data and MOE.

Candidates based in the UAE are preferred; relocation support is not available. UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply. The role may involve shift work and occasional night shifts as required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience on Bombardier Global or Challenger series.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Appendix I to Part-66.
• Basic knowledge of Part-145.
• Familiarity with EWIS and CDCCL where relevant.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MOE and maintenance data; perform tasks under supervision.
• Identify defective components and document using Material Return Forms.
• Order parts in SAP and coordinate with certifying staff.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental policies; participate in 5-S activities.
• Communicate task status clearly to supervisors.

This center will offer advanced MRO capabilities and support the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio. This position is open to candidates currently based in the UAE; relocation support is not available.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardiers Maintenance Organization Procedures, among which the relevant parts of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
• Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate and approved maintenance data (e.g. aircraft maintenance manuals)
• Identify defective aircraft components with the Material Return Form
• Order parts in SAP
• Carry out maintenance tasks to the standard specified in the Maintenance Data under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, and to notify supervisors of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards
• Properly process removed, uninstalled and rejected parts
• Correct defects under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned

How to thrive in this role?

• You have 3-5 year of aircraft maintenance experience specifically on Bombardier Aircraft Type I.e. Global or Challenger Series
• You are up to date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66
• You have basic knowledge of Part-145
• You have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
• You have knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations
• You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
• You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task status
• You have the ability to use standard tools, special tools and to operate ground support equipment
• You have the ability to work in accordance with the maintenance data and to notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards
• You have the ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions
• You have experience understanding critical tasks
• You have basic PC skills
• Able to work in shifts and occasional night shifts ( if required).
• Able to travel for business needs on short notice
