Job summary

Dubai Aviation Corporation seeks an experienced surface-treatment maintenance professional to certify heat treatment, plating, and peening activities in the Surface Treatment Workshops, ensuring compliance with MOE, GCAA CAR Part V, CAR-145 and EASA standards. You will verify parameters, review components, and certify records with emphasis on safety, quality, and traceability.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience, with 2 years in aeronautical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in peening and/or plating operations.
• UAE GCAA basic license preferred; company authorization preferred.
• 147 approved GCAA modules 9 & 10 mandatory; prior authorization preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs, inspects, reviews, and certifies maintenance activities involving heat treatment, plating, peening, and surface treatments per approved data.
• Ensures compliance with MOE, regulatory requirements, specifications, and procedures.
• Verifies process parameters (temperature, duration, chemical concentration, etc.) are correctly applied and recorded.
• Reviews components before, during, and after processing for suitability and conformance.
• Certifies work orders, inspection reports, and related maintenance documentation timely and legibly.
• Maintains traceability and proper handling of materials, chemicals, and process media.
• Ensures equipment is approved, serviceable, certified, and within calibration/inspection validity.
