Job summary

Etihad Engineering is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to support safe and reliable flight operations. Base Maintenance centers on aircraft safety, reliability and operational excellence, handling inspections, defect rectification, major repairs and component changes across modern fleets.

As an Aircraft Technician, you will work under a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, performing tasks per procedures and regulatory requirements while developing your technical expertise across relevant trades

Qualifications

• High School leaving certificate or diploma.
• apprenticeship with an airline or approved organization.
• At least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance including hands-on work in A&C, Avionics, Components and Structure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance is performed to the highest level with current technical data and notices.
• Prepare materials, tooling, equipment and documentation in advance.
• Inform LAE to maintain an overview of the aircraft.
• Maintain a FOD-free working area and clean bay before and after work.
• Develop knowledge for career growth across relevant trades.
• Participate in Health and Safety matters.
• Promote a reporting culture aligned with company ethos.
• Return unused serviceable/unserviceable items to stores with correct labeling.
• Ensure tooling is cleaned and labeled if defective.

Base Maintenance is at the heart of ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Our highly skilled maintenance team performs a wide range of aircraft maintenance activities, from scheduled inspections and defect rectification to major repairs and component replacements across modern fleets.

As an Aircraft Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining aircraft by carrying out maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely return of aircraft to service while developing your technical expertise across relevant trade and cross-trade disciplines.

Our team excels in timely, cost-effective solutions for various checks, engine change, and landing gear changes, along with unscheduled maintenance and pre-service checks.

• Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
• Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
• Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
• Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
• Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
• Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
• Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
• Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies? ethos
• Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
• Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
• Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training
• At least 5 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in relevant trade A &C, Avionics, Components, Structure with maintenance
