Job summary

Serco is seeking a Head of Training for the Sharjah ANS division to oversee the design, development, and delivery of air navigation services training. You will ensure compliance with GCAA and DCA Sharjah guidelines, manage OJTIs and LCEs, and drive high standards in ATCO training, assessment, and renewal processes.

The role requires substantial experience in aviation training, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of CARs/ICAO regulations applicable to ATS operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in operational aviation and aviation training roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CARs and ICAO rules for ATS operations.
• Experience delivering training in classroom, simulation, and online environments.
• Ability to design training solutions addressing performance gaps and training material improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, administer, and manage ANS training programmes and courses.
• Oversee ATCO training delivery and ensure compliance with GCAA requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling of training and track competency checks and renewals.
• Select and supervise OJTI and LCE personnel; ensure assessments per regulations.
• Lead APC evaluations and coordinate Emergency Continuation Training.
