Job summary

Safran.AI in Abu Dhabi seeks a Solution Architect to be the primary technical contact for Middle East and North Africa prospects. You'll demonstrate value of Safran.AI solutions from technical and functional standpoints, collaborating with a Sales Manager to scope and propose high value-added solutions.

This role requires 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience, strong architecture skills, and international experience in defence/intelligence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in custom software development and a strong architecture mindset.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Significant international experience, ideally in the Middle East in defence/intelligence solutions.
• Ability to understand prospects’ needs and translate into technical requirements.
• Strong organization, autonomy, and multi-topic management in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops, presentations, and technical discussions with prospects to drive opportunities.
• Analyze prospects' challenges and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Design solution architectures and evaluate options against multiple criteria (security, performance, interoperability).
• Identify technical risks and set up proofs of concept when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and deployment teams to validate feasibility and custom development.
• Act as local technical representative for Safran.AI on smaller projects and partner with the France-based PM on larger ones.
