Job summary

Oliver Wyman Digital is seeking an AI Product Engineer to build AI-first products behind client engagements and firm initiatives. You will own end-to-end product construction, from data and retrieval to agent orchestration, UI, deployment and ongoing improvement.

You will work in small teams with AI Product Owners and client teams to ship production-grade AI, driving business impact and developing leadership breadth over time.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong coding in Python and/or TypeScript with unit tests and CI/CD awareness.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications or agents with tooling and API use.
• Ability to integrate software components across UI, backend, and data pipelines.
• Foundational SQL skills and familiarity with data handling for knowledge pipelines.
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably AWS, with containers and security basics.
• Security-first mindset and awareness of AI risks and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate full-stack AI products with UI, backend, and APIs.
• Design and build agent frameworks with tools, memory, context, and retries.
• Create reliable agent workflows with state persistence and rollback handling.
• Build data retrieval and knowledge pipelines with quality and access controls.
• Architect and deploy AI applications on cloud platforms and on-premise environments.
• Ensure secure engineering practices and approvals from IT, Risk, and Legal.
• Monitor quality, latency, and cost; support production with client teams.
• Collaborate with AI Product Owners and client teams to translate objectives.
