Contract: Freelance, full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $2,000- $4,000 per month

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm UK time, with some flexibility needed around podcast recordings.

Location: Remote but being based in Dubai would be an advantage.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an AI-Powered Video Editor (Social and Podcast): a talented all-round video editor who also has specialist skills in creating and editing content for social media, and in turning long-form podcast episodes into high-performing social clips. You'll live and breathe social media and be genuinely excited by what AI can do.

This role has four main parts:

• Social content specialist - creating and editing long and short-form content built for social, with real viral potential, and packaging it for maximum engagement and conversion.
• Podcast editing and clipping - editing every full-length episode of Marisa's podcast, Your Mind, Your Rules, and converting them into scroll-stopping social clips, as well as coordinating guests and studio requirements.
• General video editing - editing paid ads, product launch videos, campaigns and wider marketing content.
• AI leadership - being the team's go-to person for AI, researching and sharing the latest tools and shortcuts to make everything from content planning to editing faster, simpler and smarter.

You'll understand that great social content isn't just about the edit. It's about the packaging: the hook, the caption, the cover, the format and the timing that get content seen, watched and acted on.

Key Responsibilities

Social-First Editing and Content Packaging

• Spot the moments with viral potential and edit them to hold attention from start to finish.
• Write strong hooks that land within the first three seconds.
• Package every piece for performance: titles, captions, covers, thumbnails, on-screen text and calls to action.
• Tailor content to each platform's format, style and audience rather than posting the same clip everywhere.
• Turn podcasts, teachings and legacy content into short-form clips for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other channels.

Podcast Editing and Production

• Edit full-length episodes of Your Mind, Your Rules from start to finish for YouTube and audio platforms, including multi-camera editing, audio clean-up, colour, graphics and captions.
• Create episode trailers, thumbnails and titles that drive views and listens.
• Convert every episode into a series of social clips ready to publish across channels.
• Coordinate recordings, including booking and confirming studio and tech requirements for in-person and remote sessions.
• Prepare guest and host briefs alongside the wider team.

Social Content Strategy and Delivery

• Working with the social media team to plan and deliver a consistent content calendar across channels.
• Test different angles, formats, hooks and captions, and scale what works.
• Align content with campaigns, product launches and paid media.
• Convert views to leads and revenue.

Ads and Marketing Editing

• Edit video ads for paid social campaigns, testing multiple versions, hooks and cuts.
• Create video and content assets for product launches, programmes and promotions.
• Edit wider marketing content, including trailers, testimonials, website and email video.
• Adapt content for different placements and formats, from Stories and Reels to YouTube pre-roll.
• Support lead generation and sales through conversion-focused creative.

AI Lead

• Be the team's go-to person for AI, staying on top of the latest tools, updates and shortcuts.
• Research and share new AI tools and techniques with the wider team.
• Build and improve AI-driven workflows across planning, scripting, editing, captioning and publishing.
• Use AI to understand and work with platform algorithms, from trend spotting to posting strategy.
• Find ways to make every stage of content production simpler, faster and more streamlined.

Performance and Optimisation

• Analyse retention, watch time, engagement and conversion data.
• Review performance weekly and adjust content based on what the data shows.
• Drive follower growth, reach and audience engagement.
• Support lead generation and revenue through conversion-focused content.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Proven experience editing high-performing short-form video specifically for social media.
• Experience in social content strategy and delivery, with results you can point to.
• A deep understanding of how social platforms and their algorithms work, and how packaging drives engagement and conversion.
• Experience editing full-length podcast or long-form video content, as well as video ads and marketing content.
• Hands-on, up-to-date knowledge of AI tools across content planning, editing and publishing.
• Strong organisation and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with high-profile guests and their teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud.
• Experience using social analytics tools to make decisions.

Preferred

• Experience with AI tools such as Runway, Pika, Descript, ElevenLabs, CapCut, Opus Clip or similar.
• Experience producing or coordinating a podcast.
• Experience creating content for paid media campaigns.
• Experience of scriptwriting and copywriting for short-form content, including hooks and captions.
• A background in performance marketing or growth-focused content roles.
• Videography skills.
• An interest in personal development, psychology or wellbeing.
