Job summary

Payward in Dubai is building the future of open finance by designing and scaling the AI platform that powers Kraken and related services. You will own the technical surface from integration points to production runbooks, bridging gaps between capabilities and safe, scalable use across the organization.

The role emphasizes governance, OAuth and federated identity, tooling development, and policy-driven data controls, with close collaboration across teams to unlock real leverage from AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the technical layer of the AI platform, from integration surface to production runbook.
• Identify capability gaps between what's possible and what the organization can safely use, then close them by evaluating vendors or building internally.
• Own the governed integration gateway as an engineering surface, handling connector onboarding, authentication flows including OAuth and federated identity.
• Build internal tooling that extends the platform, including agent scaffolding, reusable skills and prompt assets, and evaluation harnesses.
• Configure and operate tiered spend controls across the AI estate, set caps by role and tier, and reconcile vendor commitments.
• Implement the technical controls behind policy on data handling, retention, and model eligibility, including identity integration and SCIM.
• Work directly with teams to unblock them and provide technical enablement through deep dives and knowledge-base material.
• Administer the enterprise AI estate end to end, including model turn ups, provisioning queues, and vendor configurations.
