Job summary

Puffy, a leading D2C brand, is hiring a General Counsel, AI-First Legal Delivery, to own legal work across Puffy, RGG, and the CEO’s personal matters. You’ll work remotely with direct CEO access, using AI as the primary production method for substantive tasks.

The role combines hands-on drafting, risk analysis, and outside counsel coordination, with a fast-paced, no-layer structure and strong accountability for results.

Qualifications

A recognized law degree (JD/LLB) and bar qualification in at least one jurisdiction.
Typically 5–10 years of relevant legal experience with external/internal coordination.
Substantial hands-on experience using AI for legal work with demonstrated outcomes.
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Own and verify legal judgments and provide independent, decision-ready recommendations to the CEO.
Manage cross-border legal matters for Puffy, RGG entities, and CEO personal affairs.
Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, retail, and affiliate agreements; coordinate with outside counsel.
Lead monthly Legal Exposure Audits and quarterly compliance sweeps.
Shape AI-driven legal delivery within confidentiality controls.
