Job summary

AGAPI Technologies in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and optimize multilayer AI systems across NLP, LLM, and computer vision domains. You will fine-tune models for domain needs and deploy robust APIs and microservices in production.

The role requires hands-on experience with multimodal AI, vector databases, and experience in real-time inference, with Docker/Kubernetes familiarity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of AI/ML engineering focused on NLP, LLMs, or CV.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying real-world AI systems.
• Experience with multimodal AI (text and image) and vector DBs (FAISS/Milvus/Pinecone).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AI models across NLP, LLMs, and CV domains.
• Fine-tune models for domain requirements and evaluate architectures.
• Deploy models to production with scalable APIs and microservices.
• Monitor model performance and iterate with data augmentation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams; drive architectural decisions.
• Stay updated on LLMs, NLP, and CV developments.
