Job summary

Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly skilled AI Engineer with deep expertise in LLMs, VLMs, and agentic architectures to design, train, fine-tune, and deploy scalable AI systems.

You will integrate multimodal reasoning, develop autonomous agents, and optimize inference pipelines across GPUs and cloud platforms, collaborating with researchers and engineers to advance state-of-the-art AI at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Robotics, or related field.
• Proven hands-on work with LLMs, VLMs, or agentic frameworks.
• Experience producing AI systems at scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs and VLMs for real-world applications.
• Engineer autonomous agent frameworks with multi-step reasoning and tool use.
• Build scalable, low-latency inference pipelines and optimize deployment for edge GPUs and cloud platforms.
• Stay updated with advances in LLMs, multimodal models, and autonomous agents.
