Job summary

Confidential, a UAE-based financial services builder, seeks an Enterprise Architecture Lead to define and govern the technology landscape, AI architecture, and integration standards for a scalable, AI-native institution from day one.

You will lead architecture across cloud, on-prem, and multi-vendor ecosystems, ensuring regulatory compliance and executive alignment while building a resilient, auditable technology foundation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture within banking or financial services.
• Experience architecting AI/ML and agentic systems in production.
• Designing bank-scale integration architectures (event-driven and API-based).
• Familiarity with modern cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• Experience in regulated environments (licensing, audits, model risk).
• Ability to drive complex tech decisions with executives.
• Adaptable to fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern enterprise technology landscape, including architecture and roadmaps.
• Design AI-agent orchestration, non-human identity, permissioning, and supervision.
• Architect the intelligence layer with model registries, gateways, and governance.
• Define enterprise integration architecture, APIs, events, and MCP protocols.
• Build machine-readable architecture models for governance and AI decision-making.
• Develop reference architectures for resilience, recovery, observability, and data movement.
• Lead technology selection, governance, and vendor evaluations.
• Enforce standards across multi-vendor ecosystems; manage deviations and remediation.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits, and AI governance through robust controls.
