Job summary

Plahton is seeking an enthusiastic ML engineer to advance visual-search and material-recognition models. You will own the model training, evaluation and deployment for a production pipeline in a fully remote setup across EU/MENA, with flexible hours.

You will work with Python and PyTorch, focusing on embeddings, retrieval, and generative components as needed, collaborating with product to design AI-native flows, and building monitoring and quality gates to ensure real-world reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied ML experience in computer vision, embeddings or retrieval in production.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills; able to own a model end-to-end.
• Pragmatic about evals, data quality and shipping over benchmark-chasing.

Responsibilities

• Own model training, evaluation and deployment for visual search and recognition.
• Improve retrieval quality with embeddings, re-ranking and feedback loops.
• Partner with product to design AI-native flows, not bolt-on features.
• Productionize models with monitoring, evals and clear quality gates.
