Job summary

Duncan & Ross in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role focuses on designing scalable, production-grade AI architectures and aligns with governance, security and Responsible AI principles.

The candidate will define end-to-end AI solutions, integrate with enterprise apps and data platforms, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams while engaging with government stakeholders

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Architect to join a high-priority Government project in the UAE. The role will focus primarily on designing and delivering Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform with additional exposure to traditional Machine Learning and AI/ML systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end AI architecture designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions and working closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver production-grade AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end architecture for Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Architect AI solutions on the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem.
• Design and implement AI agents and multi-agent workflows including orchestration tool integration memory/context management and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Develop enterprise LLM and RAG architectures including embeddings vector search retrieval grounding and evaluation.
• Work with Azure AI technologies such as:
  • Azure OpenAI
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Azure AI Search
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable
• Define secure scalable and production-ready AI architectures.
• Implement AI governance guardrails security privacy and Responsible AI principles.
• Support integration of GenAI solutions with enterprise applications APIs data platforms and business systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable AI architectures.
• Contribute to traditional Machine Learning solution architecture and model lifecycle where required.
